Sweet Little Sweet Pea!

Apologies for being AWOL yesterday - I am having huge problems with the Internet once again.

I have managed a post today though - a card made using the new Sweet Pea Fairy set of stamps from Crafter's Companion.

The iamge is colorued with Mica Paints and is mounted over a base card decorated with patterned paper from the new triple CD and embossed card stock. Embellished with satin ribbon bows.

CD Sunday - Flower Fairies Of The Garden!

For the CD Sunday Spot this week I am sharing a card made with the new Flower Fairies of the Garden triple CD set from Crafer's Companion.

I have made an A6 tri fold card, using images and patterned paper from the CD.


The card is neatly tied at the side with a satin ribbon and as you open the car up this is how it looks, with further image greetings of the Sweet Pea Fairy.


Finally the inside of the card, fully opened, with flowers in the centre panel and decorative edge border strips on both sides.

Rose-Bay Willow-Herb Flower Fairy Cards!

This is the last of the six new Flower Fairies from Crafter's Companion, the Rose-Bay Willow-Herb Fairy.

The above card was made using an invertage from the new triple CD set. This is mounted over a background of patterned paper from the CD and a decorative strip made using one of the Martha Stewart deep edge punches. Embellished with Card Candy and an organza mix ribbon.



For this card I have stamped her with Stazon and coloured her with Cosmic Shimmer water colour paints. The card base has been decorated with patterned paper from the triple CD set and black card. The edge of the card has been cut away to show the inside edge of the card, also decorated with a patterned paper strip. Tied with black satin ribbon.

Maybe the last of the Fairy but not the last of the sample cards!

Heliotrope Flower Fairy Cards!

Sharing two cards made with the new Heliotrope Flower Fairy products available from Crafter's Companion.

This is a topper from the CD, mounted over a background of patterned paper, also from the CD and a decorative edge strip made using one of the Martha Stewart punches. Embellished with satin ribbon and Dew Drops.



The above card has been stamped and water coloured with the Lyra Crayons. The background was made using the Faux Silk technique - instructions are on a post HERE. Embellished with satin ribbon bows.

Candytuft Flower Fairy Cards

Today I share a couple of sample cards made using the new Candytuft Flower Fairy image made using the new stamps and CD available from Crafter's Companion.

On the above card I have stamped the Fairy using Stazon and I have water coloured with Lyra Crayons. Matted and layered her onto contrasting card stock, ticket punched some of the corners and embellished with ribbon bows.



This is a pryamage from the new triple Flower Fairy CD. She is mounted onto a background of patterned paper from the CD set, embossed card stock and a punched decorative edge border piece. Embellished with Dew Drops.

Sharing cards today made using the Sweet Pea Fairy stamps and images from the new Flower Fairy products available from Crafters Companion.

The above card is stamped and coloured with water colours. The patterned paper is from the CD and has been punched with a Martha Stewart decorative edge punch before being mounted onto the card base using Stick and Stay Spray. Embellished with satin ribbon and Dew Drops.

The second card is made using an image and patterned paper from the CD set. Matted and layered onto card layers and embellished with Dew Drops and satin ribbon.

Marigold Flower Fairy Sneak Peak!

Another of the new Flower Fairies from Crafter's Companion to share with you - The Marigold Fairy!

The above card was made using the stamp set. The image is coloured with Cosmic Shimmer mica water colour paints. The background was made using the paints also. Embellished with satin ribbon bows.

This is another using a twister pyramage of the Fairy from the new triple CD set. Patterned paper is also from the CD. Embellished with a satin ribbon bow.

New Flower Fairies Launch From Crafer's Companion!

Tomorrow will see the launch of some new Flower Fairy stamp sets and a triple CD from Crafter's Companion.

The show is on Ideal World at 9.00 pm Tuesday 23rd March.

To give you a sneaky peak today I am sharing a card from the CD above. The gatefold card uses an image of the beautiful Canterbury Bell Fairy - one of the six new Flower Fairies to be released. The card is embellished with a gem plus punched flowers and leaves.


This is a sneaky peak at the Canterbury Bell stamp set. I have coloured the stamped image with watercolours. Patterned paper is from the new triple CD set. Embellished with Dew Drops and satin ribbon.

Rejoice - An Easter Card.

Today's card is another Easter Card. This one is made using a set of stamps from Stampin Up called Easter Morn.

The image is water coloured and is mounted over a background of card that has been embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder and punched with a Martha Stewart decorative edge punch. This in turn is mounted over a card base that I have covered with a gingham patterned paper. Embellished with satin ribbon.

Gardening & Tilda!

A quick card for a gardening enthusiast using a Tilda Stamp, a Stampin Up Daisy Stamp and an Anita's text stamp.

All images coloured with Alcohol Ink Markers and mounted with 3D foam pads over a base card decorated with K & Co patterned paper and a stamped, matted text topper. Embellished with satin ribbon bows in Tilda's bunches.

Retro Flowers!

This is a really quick little A6 card I put together using the fabulous Elusive Images Bloom stamps.

This really is a quick and easy card to make in a hurry. The blooms have simply been stamped onto different coloured card using a Sepia Versafine ink and clear embossed. Cut out and mounted 3D over a background of DCWV retro floral paper and a quick greeting stamped in the corner. Embellished with satin ribbon.

Tanda Teaser - Artful Apertures!

This is my card share for the Tanda Teaser today - 'Artful Apertures'!

I have used an image from the new Beatrix Potter Mrs Tiggy-Winkles set of stamps. The image is water coloured and popped behind an aperture that is embossed card. Mounted over patterned paper from one of the Beatrix Potter CD's and embellished with a satin ribbon bow.

MTTC - Lovely Lace!

This card is shared for the My Time To Craft Challenge of 'Lovely Lace'!

Stamps used are:- tea cup and flowers are from Stampin Up, lace background square is from Aspects of Design and the watch face is an unknown unmounted stamp. Flowers and Tea Cup are coloured with water colours and diamond glazed. Background lace is stamped onto a piece of lilac card using a dark purple dye ink and trimmed with white lace. Watch strap is some fancy decorative braid from my sewing stash.

This lovely image is decoupaged up with silicone glue and the basin has been diamond glazed. Mounted over a background of patterned paper and Cuttlebug embossed card. Embellished with satin ribbon and gems.

Iris Heaven!

This is my card for the challenge at Crafty Ann's Challenge Blog this week - a colour challenge of Lilac, Lemon & Pink.

I chose to use Ann's beautiful Iris image because I thought I could use the colours well with this image. The Iris' are coloured with water colour paints and mounted over a background of a Lilac backing paper from Ann and coloured card. One piece of the backing paper has been embossed with the Cuttlebug Hearts folder. Embellished with satin ribbon and Dew Drops.

A Touch Of Bollywood!

This is my card for the DU2DS Challenge this week - 'No Patterned Paper'!

I have used two digi stamps from Sandra Dry Designs - Saloni and The Royal Pavilion from Sandra's Bollywood Collection.

The Royal Pavilion has been printed directly onto a deep red card and then matted onto black for the background piece. Saloni has been coloured with Alcohol Ink Markers and mounted with 3D foam pads next to a stamped birthday greeting. Embellished with Dew Drops and Gold Stickles.

Cosmic Shimmer Tulip Card

Today I share a card made for the Tanda Teaser Challenge of 'Simply Spring'!

I have used a tulip stamp from the TandaStamps Flowers Set 1 and I have added colour using Cosmic Shimmer water colour paints. Simply matted onto card that has been trimmed with one of the deep edge punches from Martha Stewart. The background was made by spritzing a craft sheet with water, dabbing two different colour green Cosmic Shimmer paints onto it and swooshing a piece of white card through it. Embellished with satin ribbon and Dew Drops.

Little Sister!

The monthly card challenge on the JS Forum is to make a card taking inspiration from the title of an Elvis Song. I decided to go with the song 'Little Sister'.

I have used an image and patterned papers from the JS Baby Love CD. I have used a couple of Martha Stewart punches on the card in the background, the deep edge trellis punch gives gorgeous results and the doily lace trim punch is perfect for most anything! Embellished with a decorative metal corner, punched flowers, paper flowers & leaves and Dew Drops.

A Great Way To Travel!

The Tanda Teaser this week is called Transport Delights. I love these Moo images and what better way to travel than this!!

The image is coloured with pens and water colours. Background papers are Kay & Co and I have fetched my little Janome Mini sewing machine out to do a bit of stitching on this card! The extra images are just a couple of unknown unmounted stamps bought in a grab bag and the flower is Prima with a flower brad centre.
