Today's card is for the My Time To Craft Challenge - 'No Patterned Papers'! For my background I have kept it simple and embossed a grid pattern. The image is from Stampendous - Archway Nook. I have added colour with Pro Markers and given it some added dimension with Flowersoft. Embellished with pearls and a satin ribbon bow.

Cute As A Button!

This card is for a few challenges again! The first challenge is the Mojo Monday Challenge following this week's sketch. The second is the Colour Create Challenge - Pistachio Green, Aqua & Powder Pink. Lastly the Daring Card Makers Challenge this week is Make A Child Smile!

I have used one of the new Pixie images from Dotties World. The image has had colour added with Pro Markers. Embellished with a button as the extra option on Colour Create and a flower.

My card today covers a few challenges - firstly the Victoria Case Stamp Challenge following this week's sketch. The Passion For Pro Markers Challenge using the colours Lemon and Meadow Green. Tanda Teaser - Chocolate & Orange!

This is my card for the Tanda Teaser Challenge this week of 'Chocolate & Orange'!

I have made the scene using stamps from TandaStamps Summer Set 1 and Flowers Set 1. The image was stamped, coloured with Pro Markers and clear embossed before colour has been added to the scene using sponges. Embellished with satin ribbon and little sea shells.

Jolly Nation 3D Shaped Decoupage Card!

This is my card for the My Time To Craft Challenge this week - 'In The Garden'! I have used a 3D shaped decoupage card from Jolly Nation available at The Crafthouse Press. These are cute little cards that are quick to make up and very cute! I have glittered up some of my decoupage pieces with Glamour Dust to give it a bit of bling and added a Prima flower and brad for embellishment.

Daisy May Challenge - Animals

The Cute Daisy May Challenge today is 'Animals'! I have used this cute cat image from sheet number 34. The image is coloured with Pro Markers and layered onto patterned papers and embossed card. Embellished with satin ribbon, flower and pearl.

Ann's Digital Challenge Retreat!

This card is made for a Challenge on the Creating Rainbows Forum. A lovely lady, Ann, provided digital images and papers for us to have a play with. I have coloured my images with Pro Markers and has been glittered with Glamour Dust. The plate of apples has been mounted with 3D foam pads over a background made up of patterned paper and a Martha Stewart punched border. The little apple border has been coloured with Pro Markers and then I have added Diamond Glaze and Glamour Dust. If you are looking for a nice fine iridescent glitter this is just perfect!

Last Minute Father's Day

A last minute Father's Day request for a Rugby Fan. I have used an image from the Sporty George collection available from Charmed Cards & Crafts. I used the bonus image which was already coloured and decoupaged him up to three layers. Mounted over some Arctic Frog patterned papers. Embellished with silver twine, button and photo corners. This is also my card for the Dottie's World Challenge last Sunday of 'Father's Day' and the Tanda Teaser Challenge which was also 'Father's Day'.

Dancing With Shadows Card Toppers Take Two!

This is definitely the last lot of toppers for a while. I now have a huge pile of cards to make up and get sent off to various Charities so that will keep me out of mischief for a while.


You may remember me making a couple of cards with some of these images quite recently, They were received very well so I thought I would make some more.


The Joanna Sheen Dancing With Shadows CD is full of images like this and they can be made up into beautiful cards. I am hoping they sell well!

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp - Create A Scene!

The Dare U 2 Digi Stamp Challenge this week is 'Create A Scene'! I have used one of the Sketching Stampers Background digi stamps and a cute Cowgirl digi stamp from BeccaKay Designs. The background stamp has been digitally coloured and the cowgirl has been coloured with Pro Markers. The only embellishment is the string lasso!

Shadow Card Topppers!

Some more toppers for Charity cards - I thought I would do something different for this last bunch. I decided to make some toppers using the Dancing With Shadows CD from Joanna Sheen.



People that have cards off me always like the elegance of the images from this CD so I thought I would try them for the Charity cards.


I have some more that are only at the half way mark but will share them another day!

Topper Time Take Three!

This is the last of the toppers I made for Chairty cards for a wee while. Today I made a couple for special numbered Birthdays.



These make great quick cards and are ideal for when you are in a hurry. These are popped onto Nestabilities or Cuttlebug embossed card and embellished with satin ribbon, flowers, gems and die cut numbers.


Finally I did a couple for the 'Newly Weds'. For anyone who is interested in these decoupaged toppers they are available from Heather's Krafty Creations. She has a great selection at very reasonable prices.

The Daisy May Challenge this week is 'In The Round'! For my card I have used an image from Sheet 24.

The image is coloured with Pro Markers and mounted onto a large flower. Embellished with a glittered Flora Doodle and satin ribbon.

Topper Time Take Two!

I spent another couple of hours making toppers for Charity cards. This time the subject was very much babies!


First of all the 'Pink' versions. Embellished with satin bows, pearls and mounted onto a background embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.

I made a couple for the boys as well! I was asked to share where I get these decoupage topper downloads. They are available from Heather's Krafty Creations along with a lot more!

100 Years Young!

More bespoke work - the remit this time was a card to celebrate Great Aunt Edna's 100th Birthday - personalised and boxed.

I have used an image and patterned papers from the Joanna Sheen Elegant Fans CD. I love this image - it is probably my favourite from the CD! I have tried to add a little more elegance with some decorative edges using a Martha Stewart border punch.



Once again the box is made to match the card and is lined with a burgundy tissue paper. Embellishments include paper flowers, satin ribbon and pearls. I hope she has a wonderful day!

An 18th For A Brickie!

Sharing more bespoke work with you today - the remit was an 18th for a Brickie and she wanted it boxed and personalised.

I have used the fab image of Builder George, this image is from the George At Work Set of Digi Stamps and is available from Charmed Cards & Crafts.

I have coloured the image with Pro Markers and teamed it up with some brick paper that I had left over from another project.


This is the box, made to match the card and lined with tissue papers. Embellishments include a brad, metal decorative corners and satin ribbon.

All of a Flutter!

The Tanda Teaser Challenge this week is 'Beautiful Butterflies'! I have used this great stamp form the TandaStamp Bee Mine Set of stamps.

Coloured with Pro Markers and very lightly glittered in places with a Sakura Clear pen. layered onto a background paper from Canon Creative Park - some great free bits and bobs on here. Embellished with a heart gem and white organza ribbon.

Lofty is all Loved Up!

This is my card for the My Time To Craft Challenge this week - another of Becky's fab sketches! I have used my new Venetian Lofty stamp. This is from the new range of Lofty stamps available from Joanna Sheen - loved this one, they look so cute!

My image is coloured with Pro Markers and is layered onto patterned paper and a punched border. Embellished with heart gem and glittered flora doodles.

This challenge is running for two weeks so plenty of time to join in!

Daisy May - Pink & Green

The Daisy May Challenge today is Pink & Green! This image of Daisy in her garden is from Sheet No. 5 and I have coloured her with Pro Markers.

Simply layered onto patterned paper and embellished with satin ribbon, a flower and gems. A Printworks sentiment stamp was used and some stitch detail along the top of the card.

Check the challenge blog out - you don't have to use the Daisy May images to join in - any image you fancy will be fine!

60th Birthday Card

More bespoke work to share today - the remit was a 60th Birthday card for a lady who loves her rabbits.

I love this stamp from Funstamps - I bought it originally to be used for my Easter cards one year and it has come in handy for a few Birthday cards since then too. The stamp is actually called 'Leverets' but it I think it will suffice.

I have stamped the image using Black Versafine ink and coloured the image with a mixture of Pro Markers and Pencils - I love mixing different colouring mediums together to get the look you want. Embellished with lace, satin ribbon and pearls.

Archery Card!

Sharing some bespoke work today - a request for a card with an Archery theme.

I have made the card using various Archery clip art and colouring book bits and pieces. Coloured with Pro Markers and mounted 3D over a piece of card embossed with the Cuttlebug Numbers embossing folder. Embellished with a tied ribbon.

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp - Ribbons!

The Dare U 2 Digi Stamp Challenge this week is 'Ribbons'!

My card uses a fabulous Pansy image from the Sketching Stamper and is coloured with Pro Markers. If you are looking for digi stamps do check out the link above - some lovely images available! Layered onto a Cuttlebug background trimmed with a Martha Stewart border punch. I have tied a double bow in two colours of lilac satin ribbon and also tied some curly metallic ribbon around them.

Minnie Mouse!

This is a card for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge 'Nip and Punch'. I use my die cuts and punches all the time so I decided to use my Cricut for this card.

Minnie has been layered onto some patterned paper and a piece of embossing using the Tiny Bubbles Cuttlebug embossing folder which has also been embellished with lace. The greeting 'hugs to you' is from the Beyond Birthdays Cricut cartridge and I have added a couple of gems under the greeting.

This little machine is such a wonderfully clever bit of kit - but I am wondering if I get as good a use out of it as I should do. My main card making interest is Stamping and Decoupage and I only ever seem to get the machine out for the odd shape or letter. I keep telling myself to use it more but I am toying with the idea of selling it along with my collection of cartridges so that I can buy some more colouring mediums and inks or some Nesties which I use all the time!

Topper Time!

Every so often I either send a lot of my challenge cards of to a Charity or make up a load of quick cards for a particular charity. I also sell a few of these on EBay if I am saving for anything in particular!

Today I have been making up a load of toppers to make cards for a charity run.

The above two sets are for Driving Test and Theory passes.

Finally for today a set that can be used for Father's Day or Dad's Birthday! Now all I need to do is make them into cards!

Diva Daisy May!

Today I am sharing my card for the Cute Daisy May Challenge this week - Let's Emboss It! I have used all four images from Sheet 25 for my card and coloured with Pro Markers. The letters behind the images have been cut with the Cricut George & Basic Shapes cartridge and embossed in a Cuttlebug folder. There is also a strip of embossed card with a decorative edge behind the girls too. Embellished with pearls.
