A couple of cards for a couple of digi challenges today. The first is for the Dare u 2 Digi Stamp Challenge which this week is a colour challenge of 'Red, Green and a Neutral'. I have used this beautiful Rosebuds image from Sketching Stamper Digi Stamps. The image is coloured with ProMarkers and is layered onto a background of patterned papers and card with a punched doily trim. Embellished with card candy.
The second is for Crafty Ann's Challenge Blog - the challenge this week is 'texture'! I have used Ann's great pocket stamp for my card. I have added colour to the pocket by dragging three different shades of blue, dye ink pads, directly across the pocket for a denim look. The pocket is placed over a background of gingham paper, card stock embossed with a Cuttlebug folder and trimmed with a decorative Martha Stewart punch, plus a strip of denim fabric that I have slightly frayed at the edges. The pocket contains a chewing gum and a tag. Embellished with flowers, a button, pearls, eyelets and satin ribbon.
Thanks for the visit today.

Two fabulous cards Wendy, I love Chris' rosebuds digi and at last I know how you added the colour to the denim pocket - it's so effective! Wonderful work on both counts
