Firstly I would like to thank everyone who has left me an ward over the last few days - I really appreciate you thinking of me! I have just been flat out over the last few days getting some design work for the next Stamp Addicts TV show finished and ready to post. With this job done and dusted I will endeavour to post about the awards in the next couple of days. Please forgive my tardiness!
The challenge this week on the Joanna Sheen Forum was to make a card to the theme of 'Indian Summer'. I have been itching to use this lovely image from the August images on the Joanna Sheen Card Maker's Year CD. Well that was the Summer image so I printed off some paper from my Artylicious Damask CD in a colour way that matched the image and warmed things up somewhat! Embellished with a prima, brad, satin ribbon and ric-rac to enhance the fabric look of the printed paper. The laugh and be happy sentiment is from Printworks and I thought this went with the innocence of the image.

A fantastic card - love your thinking on this one - normally I can think straight away what I want but might wait a few days to get some more ideas
Thanks for sharing

Perfect Wendy - I love these colours and the damask background is ideal

Such a beautiful card Wendy (and one of my favourite images from this CD) I just love the way the backing paper picks up the colour scheme, beautiful.
haven't got this CD so not seen this image before. It's beautiful - so dreamy. love your card - as usual.
