Another nice envelope dropped through the door on Saturday! Tanda Stamps have launched two new stamp sets - Clarice Cliff Set 1 and Clarice & Erte Borders, both designed by Sue Law. As with all new stamps I receive I couldn't wait to play with these!! I wanted a crisp clean look to my cards . The above card is simply stamped and coloured with Copics in bold strong colours. The front of the card is cut back to reveal the fab matching border.
I just loved this border and I have added gems and diamond glaze to it here. The image has been stamped in black Versafine and clear embossed. I have then sponged various pink dye inks onto the image and highlighted parts of the image in white. A bit of matting and layering before attaching to base card.
Finally for this session there is a great tea pot stamp which any of the round scene stamps it into nicely. I have used the boat one here, colouring with copics. The front of the base card has been cut in a circular fashion using a tea plate! A contrasting border has been added and some patterned paper on the inside of the card. I used a stencil and pricked a circular pattern around the teapot. All greetings used are on the Clarice Cliff Set 1 as well!
Go on - check them out, along with some cards that Sue designed herself - just click HERE!

Wendy, what can I say but...exquisite!! I do love this art deco style and that first card has to be a classic Clarice Cliff! Well done on achieving such a superb look.
All lovely Wendy but there is no way I would have known that was a tea pot if you hadn't said.
Love Cynthia x
