My Time To Craft Challenge - Birds!

The theme for the My Time To Craft Challenge this week was 'Birds'. I have made another card in Michele Zindorf's style - this time I have created my own scene without following a Tutorial! After I had finished it I spotted things I could have done a lot better but this technique is definitely a learn and improve as you go technique!

For my card I have used an Owl stamp of unknown origin and a set from Stampin Up called 'Art of Life'. I have sponged Adirondack Butterscotch, Terracotta, Ginger, Espresso and black onto my scene. For me, with no art experience, the hardest part is the light issue. In the end I just do something that is pleasing to my eye!

Another blog prize is up for grabs to those who join in with the challenge this week!!

This is just beautiful Wendy. I love the colours you've chosen and they're perfect with that stamp - I can just imagine that he's just come out to start his hunting as the sun's setting. (It's a relief to read what you say about the light - 'cos I'm the same!!)
