Wednesday Stamper - Trees

The Wednesday Stamper challenge this week was 'Trees'. For my card I have used a Cornish Heritage bark backgrounder on my base card. Stampin'Up set Lovely as a Tree for the main image and a text stamp from Anitas. I decided to go the reflection type of card which I achieved in a cheating sort of way - by stamping my reflection onto velllum and turning it over! Embellished with a single ribbon bow which was hand tied by myself. I am feeling pleased with myself as I have learnt how to tie reasonable bows without a bow maker! I chose a satin ribbon purchased from Joanna Sheen in a colour that I is in the water coloured background.

What a fabulous idea. It's so clever and if you hadn't explained how it was done I would have been wondering for ever. Lovely card.

I see no cheating! Vellum is a fab way to get a reflection (and easier to get it exactly where you want it!). Fab card, Wendy.
